ND2 Brings Faith, Soul, and Inspiration With Debut Single

Every now and then, a conversation reminds me that it’s never too late to walk into a calling that’s been waiting on you all along.

That’s exactly what happened when Neiko Flowers and D2 stopped by the studio to talk about their new music project, ND2.

I know Neiko for years through radio. He’s a respected on-air personality and assistant program director, author and storyteller in Atlanta. D2, a Berklee College of Music graduate and musician, and part of the radio world in Atlanta as well, brings years of experience in ministry and music. Together, they’ve created something that feels both familiar and fresh.

Their debut single, “Right Here Right Now,” blends R&B grooves with a positive, faith-filled message. The song also features gospel favorite Canton Jones, along with Havier Daivon and Chavon.

What stood out most during our conversation wasn’t the music itself. It was the journey that led them here.

For years, both men poured their talents into serving others. Along the way, they realized some of their own gifts had been sitting quietly in the background. Conversations about purpose eventually turned into action. A songwriting event sparked something in Neiko. Seeing creators share their gifts reminded him that he had something to offer, too. Instead of ignoring that nudge, he leaned into it.

D2 Understood Exactly Where He Was Coming From

Together, they started creating without forcing anything. No chasing trends. No trying to fit into a box. Just two friends following what they believed God was placing in front of them. That approach shaped everything about the project.

When it came time to bring Canton Jones into the mix, the answer came easily. For ND2, that confirmation mattered. They wanted every step of this journey to feel aligned and authentic. The result is a song that feels good, carries a message, and reminds listeners to embrace the moment they’re in.

What I appreciated most was hearing their heart for service. Success wasn’t the focus. Being vessels was. That’s a refreshing perspective in today’s music landscape.

Something tells me this is only the beginning for ND2. If “Right Here Right Now” is any indication, there’s plenty more music and ministry ahead.
