Here We Go Again! Another School Apologizes for ‘Black History Month’ Lunch

This time right here in Michigan. Woodtv.com, reported that Grand Rapids Christian Schools had a lunch menu posted online as its “Black History Month” lunch, with fried chicken, collared greens, mac and cheese, cornbread and banana pudding. (Detroit Praise Network)

Thankfully students complained telling the school administration that it was racist, so the school changed the menu name to, “Soul Food” lunch. GR School Superintendent Tom DeJonge apologized and also stated that the school wants welcome all cultures, so the menu was not done with any malice.
