After the fire that destroyed everything I owed, I decided to do a bit of genealogy therapy to keep my mind moving forward. I really want to know about my father’s side of the family but because he was adopted… I only had bits and pieces to go on. So, I purchased an Ancestry DNA kit for both of us.

Today my dad’s results came in and pieces of our puzzle are coming together. And my dad? He is still in awe that he is 50%…. just see for yourself.

Later I went to our family picnic at lower Huron Park in Belleville, Michigan to break the news that we are family, intertwined with family that is family!
