Well, not for a few weeks but that’s not the point. Wednesday morning I had surgery to repair my right shoulder from a fall last March. I’ve had some real teachable moments since then…
Lesson 1: Trusting the healing process isn’t always easy.
Lesson 2: From prayers, transportation, a place to recuperate and watching over my pups… My Family Rocks!
Lesson 3: Thank God I started out as a lefty… certainly adapted to that skill set quickly.
And Lesson 4: Sometimes you just can’t do it alone!
Shout out to my village: Dad, Gerolyn, Terrell, Jerry “lil/big,” Leslie, Ray, the staff at Beaumont & Beverly Hills Orthopaedic Surgery & Dr. J. Michael Wiater for keeping Nefertiti intact.
Okay… back to taking it easy. Keep ya girl lifted.
