Sometimes we take things for granted… correction… most times we take things for granted. The air we breathe, fresh water, food, are all a given. But what about hearing? Recently, I was connected with P Lanette Pinkard, a powerful woman of God, who founded “My Hands Your Heart.” Lanette partners with other sign-language interpreters, agencies and organizations to create unity in the Deaf, hearing and interpreting communities. We’ve partnered to provide one day internships for students to work on their craft. So today, they are in my studio signing and interpreting my show; my talking, commercials and music. And, it is simply beautiful:
